Terms of Use
Purpose
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Agentation macOS application and this website. By installing, opening or using the software, you accept them in full. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
Account & eligibility
You must be of legal age and capable of contracting. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for everything done under your account. One account is personal to its holder.
Software licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Agentation macOS application for the duration of your plan, within the limits described in the Sales Terms. This is a right of use, not a transfer of ownership: you may not copy, resell, sublicense, decompile or reverse-engineer the software beyond what the law expressly allows.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of third-party rights;
- attempt to bypass technical limits, security measures or plan quotas;
- use the agents to produce illegal, infringing or harmful content;
- resell or share access to the software outside the terms of your plan.
Your AI subscription & your GitHub
Agentation orchestrates AI agents but does not provide the AI itself: you bring your own AI subscription (for example a Claude plan). You are solely responsible for that subscription, its cost, its terms and your compliance with the AI provider's policies. Likewise, the agents run on your machine through your own GitHub setup — no GitHub credential or access is ever transmitted to us. You remain responsible for your GitHub account, your code and your repository permissions.
We do not see your code.
Your source code travels through your own GitHub and your own AI subscription, both driven from your machine. Agentation is never given access to your GitHub, and does not collect, store or resell your code or your data.
Subscription & Sales Terms
These Sales Terms govern paid subscriptions to Agentation. Prices are in euros, stated below; applicable VAT is added where required.
Plans & pricing
Solo. One project. For trying the method.
≈ €24/mo billed annually, or €29/mo. 2 workers per project (one PO + one Tech Lead), each worker up to 10 projects.
For more than 2 people per account, or more than 10 projects per worker.
Billing
Paid plans are billed annually or monthly, in advance, by the payment method on file. Annual billing is discounted versus monthly. Taxes are applied according to your billing country.
Renewal & cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically (tacit renewal) at the end of each period, at the then-current price. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and you keep access until then. We do not pro-rate refunds for periods already started, except where the law requires it. For consumers, French law (Article L. 215-1 of the Consumer Code) entitles you to be reminded of the renewal deadline and to cancel easily.
Right of withdrawal
Consumers (non-professionals) have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts (Article L. 221-18 of the Consumer Code). If you ask us to start the service during this period, you acknowledge that you may lose this right once the service is fully performed, or owe an amount proportional to what was delivered. The right of withdrawal does not apply to professional (B2B) subscriptions.
No lifetime plan
We deliberately do not sell lifetime plans. A tool that runs real agents has real ongoing costs; a one-time fee cannot fund support, security and updates over the long term. Subscriptions keep the product sustainable and honest.
Intellectual property
Your code stays yours.
Everything the agents produce in your repositories — code, commits, branches — belongs to you. We claim no ownership over your work product.
The Agentation name, logo, application, interface and underlying software remain the exclusive property of the publisher. The licence granted to you (see Terms of Use) does not transfer any of these rights.
Personal data
Agentation is built so that your code and project data stay with you. For the limited personal data we do process (account, billing, support), the publisher is the data controller within the meaning of the GDPR.
Your GDPR rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact our data protection contact (DPO): contact@connectedmate.com.
You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority).

Liability & warranties
Agentation is provided on a best-effort basis. We work to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we are not responsible for outages of third-party services you connect (your AI provider, GitHub, your network).
Agents act on the instructions you give. You are responsible for reviewing the changes they produce before merging or deploying them. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid over the twelve months preceding the event. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under French law (notably for fraud, gross negligence or bodily harm).
Legal guarantees of conformity and against hidden defects apply where required by law.
Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by French law. Before any legal action, we encourage you to contact us to seek an amicable solution.
Consumer mediation
If you are a consumer, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge for any unresolved dispute, and the European ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr) is also available. // TODO: nom + coordonnées du médiateur de la consommation
Jurisdiction
Failing an amicable settlement, disputes fall under the competent French courts; for consumers, the rules of jurisdiction set by the Consumer Code apply.
